Community Manager

Harmonix is looking for an experienced Community Manager to join our Community team. Millions of players around the world love our games. We want to talk with our community wherever they are, covering everything from rolling out exciting new info about our games to helping players solve problems. As a Community Manager, you’ll be engaging with our community across a variety of channels, developing and evolving our community strategy, planning and attending community events, and other activities that remind our fans why they love Harmonix.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with the community across all of our social channels.
  • Design and execute a robust social content calendar.
  • Turn marketing and PR strategies into creative, community-facing content.
  • Track metrics across all channels, allowing data to shape future content plans.
  • Plan and execute events that attendees brag to their friends about.
  • Collect timely customer feedback and raise with the right teams.
  • Act as a voice of the studio to our community and a voice of the players to the studio.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in community management and social media.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community building and creative social campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of every social media platform on the planet, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, and Twitch.
  • Comfortable on-camera. Livestreaming experience is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – You’re genuine in front of a crowd and you know why the Oxford comma is important.
  • Eternal passion for video games (music games are a plus!).
  • Comfortable staffing events, some travel required.
