Senior Producer

Harmonix seeks a Senior Producer to join our exceptional Production team. Producers are the backbone of the development process, providing teams with the appropriate structure and support for successful day-to-day collaboration and operation. The Production team at Harmonix proactively manages and delivers cutting edge products, ensuring both title quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is a demonstrated leader who will have a strong background in game production, and will have worked on teams of various sizes and configurations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the full game product development cycle

  • Work closely with a team of cross disciplinary leads to run projects

  • Work with team leads to produce realistic schedules and milestone plans that are focused on the delivery of high quality products

  • Identify project risk and develop plans for resolution or mitigation

  • Communicate project status and risks with key stakeholders, leads, and management

  • Define and implement improvements to the development process at the studio

  • Hold oneself and others accountable for delivering quality

  • Mentor other members of the project team

  • Promote a healthy and positive work environment and strong work ethic

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant game industry project management experience
  • Shipped at least 3 games having worked on them from beginning to end
  • Passion for gaming and the gaming industry
  • Expert knowledge of project management methods for game development including agile
  • Ability to autonomously manage projects their teams
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good instructional skills
  • Excellent self-organization and self-motivation abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to solve problems in an efficient manner
  • Project management software skills using Jira, Confluence, Hansoft, Favro or other project management software

Pluses

  • Knowledge of music/rhythm games
  • Demonstrated music background or passion for music
