Harmonix is located on the 2nd floor of 625 Mass Ave. in Cambridge, near the corner of Mass Ave. and Prospect St. in the heart of Central Square. If you are coming by subway (aka "the T"), the Red Line's "Central" station is located directly in front of our building. (Check out www.mbta.com for more information on the T and bus routes.) If you are driving, please see the map and general driving directions below. (Be advised that finding parking in Central Sq. is sometimes difficult.) From Logan airport: Follow signs for Sumner Tunnel/Boston/Route 93. Once out of the airport, stay to the left, through the tolls ($2.00) and the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel there is a double right (you cannot go left). Take the second of the two rights, which is the Storrow Drive/93 North exit. You will be on 93 North for a very short distance. Now follow the directions from 93 North... From Rt. 93 South: Merge with oncoming traffic to get into the right-hand lane. Do not travel in the carpool lane; it is rarely faster and you will need to be on the right for the Storrow Drive exit. Take the Storrow Drive exit. Once you are on the exit ramp, move to the left. Stay to the left at the fork and... * see below From Rt. 93 North: Take Exit 26, Storrow Drive/Cambridge. Don't miss it or you will be in for quite a trip! Once down the ramp, stay left at the fork and... * see below From Rt. 1 South: Cross the Tobin Bridge ($.50 toll), and follow signs for Storrow Drive. Once you have followed a big curving exit ramp, stay to the right, and take the Storrow Drive exit. Once you are on the exit ramp, move to the left. Stay left at the fork and... * see below ---------------------------------------------- * ...you will go through a very short tunnel. Once you are out of the tunnel, stay in the middle lane as you follow Storrow Drive for about 5 to 10 minutes (depending on traffic). Don't get stuck taking any mandatory lefts as you look for the Massachusetts Avenue (Mass. Ave.) exit, which is on the left. At the top of the ramp you have no choice, so turn right and follow Mass. Ave. Some landmarks to watch for as you come down Mass. Ave. are the Necco Company and the Fire Department. They will both be on your left. You will cross the Charles River. At the seventh street light (counting all the little ones), you will see our building on the right. ---------------------------------------------- From Rt. 90 East, a.k.a. The Massachusetts Turnpike, a.k.a. The Mass Pike, a.k.a. The Pike: Once you are past the tolls in Newton, it will be about 10 to 15 minutes more on The Pike. Exit on the left at Exit 16, marked Cambridge/Allston. Follow the ramp for Cambridge and go straight through the lights at the end of the ramp. Cross the Charles River and follow River Street straight into Central Square, which is the first major intersection in Cambridge. The street you are on -- River Street -- becomes Prospect Street at that intersection. Turn right on to Massachusetts Avenue (Mass. Ave.). Our building is on your left. Do not attempt to turn left onto Mass. Ave.; it's not a legal turn.
