Senior Producer (Remote Option)

Harmonix seeks a thoughtful and passionate Senior Producer to join our exceptional Production team, creating best-in-class music games. Producers are the backbone of the development process, providing teams with the appropriate structure and support for successful day-to-day collaboration and operation. The Production team at Harmonix proactively manages and delivers cutting edge products, ensuring both title quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is a demonstrated leader who will have a strong background in game production and will have worked on teams of various sizes and configurations.

Note: this position can be fully remote and does not require relocation to Boston (although we are open to relocation and local candidates). Our studio has operated effectively with remote employees in the past, both prior to and during the pandemic.



  • Manage all aspects of the full game product development cycle
  • Work closely with a team of cross disciplinary leads to run projects
  • Work with team leads to produce realistic schedules and milestone plans that are focused on the delivery of high quality products
  • Identify project risk and develop plans for resolution or mitigation
  • Communicate project status and risks with key stakeholders, leads, and management
  • Define and implement improvements to the development process at the studio
  • Hold oneself and others accountable for delivering quality
  • Mentor other members of the project team
  • Promote a healthy and positive work environment and strong work ethic



  • Passion for gaming and the gaming industry
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant game industry project management experience
  • Expert knowledge of project management methods for game development including agile
  • Ability to autonomously manage projects and their teams
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively to solve problems in an efficient manner
  • Excellent self-organization and self-motivation abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good instructional skills
  • Project management software skills using Jira, Confluence, Hansoft, Favro or other project management software


Bonus Qualifications

  • Knowledge of music/rhythm games
  • Demonstrated music background or passion for music
