Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, a Rock Band fan favorite, covered “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tommy James and The Shondells as part of an at-home quarantine cover series. Many artists, Billie Joe Armstrong included, are trying to bridge the gap and bring us all closer with their art, a shining light and comfort in this trying time. Armstrong even teamed up with his sons, Joey and Jakob, to perform this awesome cover for a socially distanced recording of a late night television show. Saint Motel is a band from Los Angeles that knows how to make some groovy tunes. Coming to the Music Store this week is their song “Van Horn”, which appears on their newest EP, The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack: Part 1. Saint Motel plans to release 2 more EPs that will make up the track list of their upcoming, full length studio album.
