It’s not Rock Band, it’s Ro(k B@nd!
This week is all about songs with more than just numbers and letters including songs and artists with acronyms, songs with “(Live)” versions or “(feat. _)” other artists, and much more. This week is definitely a bit weird, but it has a rad setlist.
The early 2000s pop punk classic “Flavor Of The Weak” is the second track on American Hi-Fi’s self-titled debut album. “Flavor Of The Weak” features some great punk-inspired guitar riffs with interesting change up sections that keep the song new and interesting. The track also features an iconic chorus that you’ll remember as soon as it kicks in.

From their brand-new album Lifeforms, Angels & Airwaves “Euphoria” was released as a single in May 2021. The song includes multiple spacey synth parts, a massively heavy guitar riff, a myriad of interesting drum parts, and an awesome distorted bass line that glues the song perfectly together. The track features Tom DeLonge’s iconic lead vocal delivery and some great backing vocals in the chorus. If you haven't already listened to this album - what are you waiting for?
