Kicking off with the iconic drum intro, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus “Face Down” is one of the defining rock songs of the 2000s. “Face Down” features chuggy guitar chords with lots of great embellishes, a fun upbeat drum pattern and a chorus that will have the whole house singing along.
“A Decade Under The Influence” is the lead single and third track on Taking Back Sunday’s 2004 sophomore album Where You Want To Be and was the band’s breakout hit, peaking at #16 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. “A Decade Under The Influence” starts with a strummed electric guitar chord before the whole back kicks off vamping and leading into a tom heavy drum pattern in the verse section. The track also features great vocal tradeoffs and an awesome bassline in the verse and breakdown section.
