DLC Week of 4/11 = Off The Charts 04 + April's DLC Artists

This week sees three chart-topping songs coming to the Rock Band Music Store: a band making their Rock Band debut, one of our recently most-requested artists since Rock Band 4’s launch, and a returning favorite.

DNCE makes their Rock Band debut with 2015’s “Cake By The Ocean.” The song has a fun, varied guitar part, an unexpected chord challenge on bass, and super fun gang vocals throughout the choruses. Vocalists will love the outro.

Since Rock Band 4’s launch back in October, we’ve seen a ton of requests for Twenty One Pilots. Released in 2015, “Stressed Out” is their first song in the Rock Band Music Store. The song has a unique and potentially tricky drum pattern of straight 16th notes over a swung pattern. Vocalists switch between rapping and catchy hooks, which are split up between Harmony 1 and Harmony 2 on Harmony Vocals.

Rounding out the pack is “The Hills” from The Weeknd. This is the second song from The Weeknd to be available in Rock Band – the #1 hit single, “Can’t Feel My Face”, is already available. Vocalists – it’s time to stretch your range and prepare for a challenge with unpredictable variations in the melody during the verses. Drummers should watch out for a tricky beat near the end of the song that could catch players off guard.

The “Off The Charts 04” pack can be purchased for $5.49. Tracks are available individually for $1.99 each.
