Two DLC artists, one new to the Rock Band Library and one veteran, are headed to Rock Band 4 this week! We’ve got fun gameplay tips for the new tunes: “Hook” from Blues Traveler and the My Chemical Romance track, “Famous Last Words”.
The chord-driven guitar part in “Hook” by Blues Traveler is an entertaining break from the challenging harmonica solo authored to guitar that includes short, fast runs. Bassists will love the track as the bass chart is constantly moving and consistently locked in with the drums for a truly solid rhythm section. Vocalists are in for a treat with tons of short and long runs throughout the entire track. Take a big breath and use it wisely, as the infamous bridge to this track is a mouthful of lyrics. It is believed that it is one of the hardest, if not the hardest vocal chart of any Rock Band DLC.
The vocals in “Famous Last Words” by My Chemical Romance are challenging during the bridge, and are generally complex as the song progresses. There is a busy, yet fun guitar solo in the middle of the tune as well.
These DLC tracks are available individually for $1.99 each.
