Looking to play something a little more chill? Free Trade Coffee Roasters is looking for performers to play some acoustic sets to distract people from the fact that they’re spending $7 on a coffee. Hopefully you can use your tips to buy some nice in-ear monitors so you don’t have to listen to your drummer complain about having to play the cajon.
The third track from their brand-new album Separate, Capstan “take my breath away // noose” showcases the band’s ability to seamlessly shift between gritty, soft, heavy and poppy sounds within the same song. This track features upbeat drums, a bouncing bassline and incredibly catchy vocals as well as an absolutely shredding guitar solo.
Since 1992, Modest Mouse has been releasing indie rock favorites and “We Are Between” off their latest album, The Golden Casket, is no exception. The song features lush guitar chords and keyboard textures as well as Isaac Brock’s iconic vocal delivery. The whole band is sure to have fun jamming along to this track.
