The Abode of Alternative Opening Act
Skratch'N Snyf’s Reunion Tour is coming to the Abode of Alternative, and they need a local opener. After making quite the name for yourselves, the promoter has given your band the spot. “good 4 u” is the third single from Olivia Rodrigo’s Billboard-topping debut album Sour which released back in May. Since then, the single has gone Platinum and maintains a top 5 spot on numerous charts and top playlists. The song starts off with a minimal sound of just bass and vocals before rising into the iconic, upbeat chorus with drums and multiple guitar layers.
Surf Curse is a surf rock duo from Reno, Nevada who released the breakout single “Freaks” in 2021 after previously being on their 2013 album Buds. The song features a distorted guitar line and lead vocal backed by strummed chords and a surf rock drum pattern making up a relatively simple production and showcasing that you don’t need a hundred tracks to make a song people love.
