Fantasia at PAX Prime 2014

The Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved road crew at Harmonix flew out to Seattle to help host the Fantasia Soundscape at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for one amazing weekend.

There were four different rooms that players had to travel through in order to earn a variety of buttons as part of the Fantasia Soundscape in the Grand Hyatt. Each of the rooms were modeled after different realms in Fantasia - The Shoal, The Neighborhood, The Hollow, and The Capsule. There were seven kiosks where players could get hands-on with Performance.

We had tons of folks stop by and play all weekend long! Along with the buttons, players also received t-shirts featuring the Spirit Elk from The Hollow, and entered for a chance to win a custom Xbox One! We had a console winner each day!

On Saturday of PAX, Disney Interactive hosted a panel directly across the Soundscape in Hedgehog Theatre to talk about the music of Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved. We had a couple special guests join including our composer Inon Zur, who worked on the game's original score. We were also joined by Eddie Kramer - music producer extraordinaire.

At the music panel, we announced the remaining songs of the game's soundtrack and gave players the chance to play the new tracks in the Soundscape.

That Sunday, we were invited by our friends at Double Fine to participate in the Devs & Bevs event. We got right into Performance gameplay to kick off the night celebrating games from some of our favorite indie devs. The soundtrack was a great compliment to goings on at the Hard Rock that night.

We just want to give a quick thanks to everyone who joined us at PAX Prime 2014! We hope you're just as excited as we are about the game. We're just over a month away from launch!
