Fitness Challenge Friday #1: "Get Low"

Now is the time to get off your couch and follow our first Fitness Challenge Friday post of 2013, which will help you get the most out of your Dance Central play sessions! We’re kicking things off with a playlist challenge that will put your legs to work. By performing squat-like movements, or essentially gettin’ low with your favorite songs, you’re working some of the largest muscle groups in your body, which will get your blood pumping while helping you strengthen your lower half!

This week we’re issuing a challenge we’d like to call “Get Low” after one of the songs key to this exercise. We’re going to help you get a great lower body workout that will strengthen those legs and build the foundation for flawless Dance Central performances.


"GET LOW" CHALLENGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Choose 10 songs (minimum, feel free to add more) from the list below and create a playlist in Dance Central 3. Click here to learn how to make a playlist! You can work through the playlist on Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulties (though Medium or Hard are encouraged for the most effective workouts!). Give it all you’ve got and work through the playlist from beginning to end! Since two players can play simultaneously in Dance Central 3, have a friend team up with you as you work together to reach your fitness goals!

Complete your 10+ song playlist a minimum of three times before the next challenge is issued on Friday, January 11.


CHALLENGE SUMMARY:

*Choose at least 10 songs from the list above.

*Create a playlist with your chosen tracks.

*Dance through the playlist at least three times before the next challenge is released on Friday, January 11 (suggested difficulty Medium or Hard, but not required).
