DLC Week of 5/5: Alfie Templeman and Joesef

“The Collector”

This week the Personality challenge focuses on The Collector. If you find yourself spending hours curating setlists, regularly contributing to the growth of your DLC collection, and can proudly offer up an almost unlimited choice of song options when playing Rock Band with friends, you know you’re a Collector. This week can help you satiate that collector’s fix with new DLC from Alfie Templeman (“Broken”) and Joesef (“It’s Been a Little Heavy Lately”).

Self-described “indie R&B” artist Alfie Templeman has been making waves ahead of his eagerly anticipated debut LP, Mellow Moon, which releases on 5/27. The 19 year-old from a small village in the East of England has amassed over 100 million digital streams and has dates booked through 2022 at some of the biggest festivals in the world. Alfie grew up in a family of musicians and the influence rubbed off as he self-taught himself multiple instruments including guitar, bass and piano. These skills are on full display on “Broken”, a funky jam that features steady guitar riffs, chunky bass lines and steady drums that will keep you groovin’ through the whole song.

The second new song this week is “It’s Been a Little Heavy Lately” from Glasgow artist Joesef. The rising artist already has a rabid fanbase in Europe and has released a slew of well received singles in advance of his upcoming full length. Northern soul, classic R&B and an indie DIY ethos helped shape his latest single “It’s Been a Little Heavy Lately”. The song’s heartfelt autobiographical lyrics are a sharp contrast to the vibrant rhythms and bouncing bass.

Both of these awesome tracks are included in the Season 26 Season Pass. Pick it up today and save big on the entire season of DLC.

Alfie Templeman “Broken” and Joesef “It’s Been a Little Heavy Lately” are available for $1.99 each.
