Little Timmy from up the street is having a birthday party but the clown cancelled last minute. Time for your band to swoop in and provide some fun music while the kids run around and shoot each other with silly string. The title track from their 2021 album, The Offspring’s “Let The Bad Times Roll” is the band’s second single from the album and was released six years after the first single “Coming For You.” The song features their classic driving electric guitar sound mixed in with acoustic guitar as well as Dexter Holland’s iconic vocal delivery and a fun upbeat drum groove.
From The Offspring’s 2008 album Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” found its way onto the top of multiple rock and alternative charts and remains one of the band’s most iconic songs. From the unforgettable kick and hi-hat drum intro, to the classic overdriven guitar chord progression and anthemic chorus, this track is an absolute must-have.
